PSPF announces 4.2% Pension increase for pensioners

Public Service Pension Fund (PSPF) pensioners will be delighted to know that from end of August 2025 they will receive a 4.2 % increment on their monthly stipend.

The Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) comes as part of government’s commitment to safeguard the welfare of retired public servants amidst rising living costs.

Minister of Public Service Mabulala Maseko in consultation with the PSPF Board, have approved the increment to ensure pensioners continue to live with dignity and financial stability.

The memorandum released by PSPF reads, in part.

“The Public Service Pensions Fund is pleased to inform all its pensioners that the Minister of Public Service, Honourable Mabulala Maseko in consultation with the Board of Trustees,

has approved a pension increase of 4.2% for all PSPF pensioners with effect from 1 April 2025. The COLA will be effected in the August 2025 pension payroll,”
