REGENT Business School Swaziland recently held an innovative alumni networking function themed “The INFLUENCE OF REGENT’S ALUMNI IN THE SWAZILAND ECONOMY”. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Phil Mnisi CEO of Swaziland Sugar Association.
This sought after event was hosted at its Swaziland campus and Learning Centre on Friday, 28th June 2018 and was well attended by the Alumni, prominent members of the business community, and representatives from various management and leadership levels, across a range of industries. The session was highly interactive and stimulating.
Dr. Mnisi stressed the importance of an Alumni Association and its contributions to the Swaziland economy. Also, the pivotal role it played in helping to shape the future of the Business School by representing the views of members and contributing to building an engaged and supportive alumni global community.
REGENT Business School alumni, an MBA graduate, Mr. Thabiso Kunene, the current Eswatini Entrepreneur of the year winner, gave testimony on how his MBA has further developed his career, and created a greater understanding of the global issues and provided enormous networking opportunities. Mr. Kunene further highlighted the influence of the Alumni Association in the development of both the global alumni community and providing a supportive role and an enabling experience for REGENT’s current students. At this session, the Alumni Committee was formalised.
