The Eswatini Arts and Music Association (SWAMA) has announced that the forthcoming MTN SWAMA Awards taking place at the Royal Swazi Spa Convention Centre in a little over a week has attracted the interest of international media.
Amongst those expected to cover this glamorous event is the Cable News Network (CNN). CNN will be here to record an insert for their programme African Voices. Also coming through is Music In Africa – the biggest music news website in Africa. From neighbours South Africa, we are expecting the SABC. SABC News Editor Dumsani Hlophe has confirmed he is coming. Hlophe heads SABC News in both SABC radio stations and TV channels.
“On another note, we are pleased to unveil KPMG as our official auditors for the awards.” Said, Thabile Mdluli who happens to be SWAMA’s PRO. KPMG is a reputable audit firm and as such we are confident that they will do an excellent job during the awards. “We rely on their expertise to ensure that artists who deserve to win are rightfully rewarded or their hard work.” Said Thabile
The much anticipated MTN SWAMA Awards take place on December 1, 2018. Tickets are already flying off the shelves at E200 each. We’d like to urge members of the public not to wait until the last day to secure their seats as only a limited number of tickets are on sale. Explained Thabile Mdluli.
