SEM Cares Foundation to Launch on 27 April 2019

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Africa AD Agency established SEM Cares Foundation which is an initiative that aims to empower the youth in creating job opportunities for themselves and their peers. The organization was established by an entrepreneur, Mr. Laurence Lukhele upon seeing the statistics of unemployed young people in the country in 2016 and later registered it late last year (2018).

The foundation’s main aim is to provide foundation courses, education, and mentorship services to the youth on its career paths, in order to influence decision making choices at an early age. It also aims to start income generating activities geared towards empowering the youth economically.

Currently, the foundation is piloting its mission and in search of 3 brand ambassadors who will be selected from the 11 finalists that have been selected within members who have already registered with the foundation. The piloting program is fully endorsed by Eswatini National Youth Council (ENYC) and part of the tasks will be to do few outreaches at selected communities and high schools.

The official launch of the event will be held at The George Hotel on the 27th of April 2019 and its set to commence at 2 pm till late. The main event will include a red carpet entrance, fashion show, music and comedy. Invited guests will kickstart by officially launching the foundation by delivering their speech to all attendees and then once the ceremony is done, the search will begin with a mixture of entertainment and fashion show a set line up will be introduced soon.
