One of the largest global conventions in 2019, spanning six continents and over 200 countries and presented in over 400 languages will be coming to the Kingdom of Eswatini on September 20-22, 2019.
Worldwide, there are 22 major cities in 18 countries that have been selected to host this year’s annual Jehovah’s Witnesses international convention.
The convention themed, “Love Never Fails,” will be held in the country from Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22 at Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba.
Once again, the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses warmly invites the public to attend this year’s annual three-day. Each day’s session will begin at 9:20 a.m.
“During this year’s convention, delegates will learn what real love is, where to find it, and how to show it and have it shown by attending this year’s three-day convention presented by Jehovah’s Witnesses,” states Lucky Dlamini, a local spokesperson of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
“The event will further illustrate the positive influence that love can have to bring together people from different backgrounds,” he further stated.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are currently participating in a nationwide campaign to invite the general public to attend the program free of charge.
Dlamini said the program was designed for people of all ages and it examines how Bible principles help people in practical ways through talks, demonstrations and interviews.
These conventions also help Jehovah’s Witnesses to make spiritual progress, and strengthen their Christian brotherhood, as through these conventions, local Jehovah’s Witnesses also get an opportunity to meet and enjoy association with fellow witnesses.
“It’s easy in this world to get downhearted. To be in fear,” Dlamini said. “And it’s easy to isolate yourself because of fear. And this convention proves that that doesn’t have to happen. That people of all races and ethnicity can actually come together. We haven’t given up hope that true love can still abound in this world.”
The morning and afternoon sessions will be introduced by a music video designed specifically for the theme of the day.
“We welcome everyone to this year’s convention to benefit from the practical advice that is contained in the Bible,” concluded Dlamini.
Each year, Jehovah’s Witnesses host Regional Assemblies around the world. They travel to larger, rented stadiums where talks, demonstrations, and videos are presented to delegates for three days.
