Despite ‘No Nudity Rule,’ Instagram Is Chock Full Of Pornography

First, let’s talk about visual processing. After light passes through the eye, the image that’s produced on the retina is sent to the brain’s primary visual cortex in the form of electrical signals. There, that information is transformed in such a way that allows you to recognize what you are seeing, whether it’s an object or a face.

The speed with which your brain processes information depends on a variety of factors, like what state of mind you’re in, and what you’re seeing, to name a few. But what researchers have discovered is that nudity actually has an impact on the speed of this process.

Facebook’s Instagram site is overrun with pornography and other sexually charged images and videos that are accessible to the site’s many teenaged users.

This is strange given the site’s strict nudity rules, which Instagram has been mocked for in the past. According to the site’s Community Guidelines, even “artistic” nudity is forbidden:

Even so, the raunchy Instagram content isn’t too hard to find. Searching for terms like “nude,” “babes” or “sexy” or variations thereof or the name of any porn star in the site’s search bar will quickly uncover accounts that flout the site’s ban on nudity and aren’t filtered to prevent minors from seeing them. #Sexy has more than 57 million posts, many of which are clips from porn videos while #porngirls has more than 300,00o of them.
“The act of taking nudes can be a new way to explore parts of your own sexuality — there’s something thrilling about being able to capture your own definition of ‘sexy’ on camera,” Amy Boyajian, CEO of Wild Flower, tells Eswatini Daily News. “Sending nudes to a partner can be extremely helpful in staying sexually connected, as well as adding variety and excitement to your routine.”
However, on the other side in general, the nude business is classified as sex work. This business consists of buying and selling nude photos and/or videos over the Internet, done in a consensual manner by the people involved.

There are people willing to pay large amounts of money for intimate or nude photos. The adult entertainment business has capitalized on this demand in a new way today through online platforms and mostly on Instagram which is most popular to the youth.

In this business selling intimate photos works like any other freelance job, in the condition of an amateur star.

And it represents for the people who enter the business a way to obtain quick and additional income through platforms, media and digital channels with privacy policies, operation and monetization as diverse as optional.

This is because one in three young women feel under pressure to present themselves as having a “perfect” life on social media, 35% of girls aged 15 – 23 believe their biggest worries online is comparing themselves to others.

We currently believe our youth can share their thoughts about such topics and maybe we can also hear more from victims and get guidance from our readers. Is it wrong to sell nudes on social media. Infact does this mean the lead to this behaviour is peer pleasure or it becomes a hobby?

Do you think some of the users are kind or are experiencing desparation. What normally leads to that? Do you believe that it’s all about loving yourself and wanting to express how you look? Your take counts and remember this is not ti judge anyone but want to understand few things here and there.
