Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini announced that schools will be opening tomorrow on the 08th September 2021 on his statement dated 02 September 2021. The PM mentioned that children at all grades, including pre-school level are expected to be at school on a rotational basis.
Learners and parents were spotted in town doing last minute shopping. One learner we spoke to said “ I’m happy that I am going back to school tomorrow. It was not nice staying at home. At least tomorrow I will see my friends.”
One parent said she was happy that all grades are going back to class and that the COVID numbers are reducing. “I hope we can continue to control the spread of the disease so that our kids can stay at school.”
