Eswatini Border Blockade by COSATU- Police disperse protesters

COSATU members staged demonstrations at Matsamo and Oshoek border posts in line with the Eswatini Global week of action program issued on the 30th August by Mokoena the Secretary General.

Movement of traffic and persons was affected for a few hours at Matsamo and eventually eased up. Protestors got very angry when they were dispersed by the South African Police Service, but eventually moved away. At all other Borders movement of traffic was not affected despite the presence of COSATU members and affiliates.
