It all ended in tears for famous American singer Robert Kelly as he was found guilty on all nine counts he was facing and could face up to life in prison. He will be sentenced on May 4, 2022.

R Kelly is known to be a good singer, songwriter, record producer and now a convicted sex offender. He has been credited with helping to redefine R&B and Hiphop earning him nicknames like the “King of R&B”, the “King of Pop- Soul”, and the “pied Piper of R&B.”

Women and children that the singer sexually abused over decades have welcomed the conviction of the man who was once regarded as the king of R&B. R Kelly took advantage of women in the name of helping them pursue their singing career. A number of women came with their testimonials on how they were abused by a man they thought to be their mentor and role model. These stories were shared in documentaries like “Surviving R Kelly”.

The singer who is most famous for the hit songs I Believe I can Fly and Ignition Remix was found to have trafficked women between different US States. Although he sang, “When a woman love, she loves for real”, R Kelly betrayed all women.

After decades of allegations, singer R Kelly is now convicted of running a scheme to abuse women and children.
