Junior Achievement Eswatini yesterday (Tuesday) started their Regional Company of the Year Competition at a high note in the Manzini Region Schools.
Each Region has a number of schools participating totaling 42 schools countrywide. JA PRO Siphesihle Mkhonta said due to Covid 19 pandemic products practical’s were done virtually by students and their teachers. “Products presented by students are very impressive, we are seeing for the first time products which include energy saving, climate change, IT and agriculture”.
The aim of the program by JA is to changing destinies for young people through entrepreneurship. Manzini Nazarene High School was yesterday presented with prizes as they won the African Company of the year 2021. The prizes we’re in form of E83 000, iPads for the team and trophies presented by JA Eswatini Executive Director Phetsile Masilela and Manzini Nazarene Principal Phindile Makhanya.
PRO Siphesihle also stated that the Regional Company competition will continue running in other schools in the four regions of the country, which will end on Friday the 26th of November 2021. The grand winner will be announced at George Hotel.
