As a multinational company, operating in nine countries in the African continent, Inyatsi Construction reinvigorated its corporate social responsibility by sponsoring the Total Energies AFCON 2023/COSAFA qualifier competition hosted by COSAFA in Eswatini.
Driven by its passion for empowering youth and developing communities Inyatsi forked out a sum of E2 million towards successfully hosting the event which kicked off today and will be concluded on October 16th.
The huge sponsorship which came in handy for the host country, Eswatini, where Inyatsi Construction has its headquarters, has lifted the company to the status of being the main sponsor of the event this year and also forging a partnership with COSAFA which looks set to grow from strength to strength.
Inyatsi CEO Derrick Shiba has paid tribute to the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) for presenting the opportunity to partner with the company in the development of football and the communities in which the company operates. Inyatsi has a footprint in nine different countries namely, Eswatini, Malawi, Lesotho, Zambia, Namibia, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, and South Africa.
“We would like to thank the EFA and COSAFA for the opportunity and when we were approached for the sponsorship, we found that it ticked all the boxes for us which is development and growth in particular empowering the youth which are all core values we share as a company. We even have programmes within the company which promote empowering the youth. I, myself am a product of these programmes,” said Shiba during a welcoming dinner for the COSAFA guests at Summerfield Botanical Gardens on Thursday.
Under the stewardship of the workaholic Inyatsi Group Executive Chairman Michelo Shakantu, the company is breaking new grounds around the continent as “Kings of Infrastructure” after dominating the Kingdom of Eswatini’s road infrastructure for the past four decades, mastering and delivering state-of-the-art and high-quality road networks.
And living up to its slogan of being Africa’s Leading Integrated Business Partner.
