The Council of Swaziland Churches (CSC) and the African Women’s Peace and Development Foundation will today hold an Ecumenical Women’s Prayer for Peace in Eswatini.

The prayer will start at 10 a.m. at the Bosco Skills Centre in Manzini and is centered around the theme.

Speakers will include the Swaziland Rural Women’s Assembly (SRWA), the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse (SWAGAA) and the Council of Swaziland Churches (CSC). Topics will include: End Violence, Build Peace, Stop the Killings and Impact of Violence on our Communities.

The prayer follows growing concerns over the increase in killings in the kingdom, with the latest being that of human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko.
