South African rapper and artist AKA original name Kienan Forbes has allegedly been shot dead along Durban’s famous Florida Road.
Twitter and other social media platforms are going into a frenzy with some people posting on the artist’s last post asking whether the rumours are true. He tweeted a response on when he will be going blond/platinum again: “I think when Mass Country goes platinum. Deal?” @akaworldwide

Social media users shared videos of an individual covered on the ground saying it was the rapper and he was allegedly shot in Florida, Durban around 10 pm.

According to a report on IOL, AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting. The site reports that two unknown cars are believed to have opened fire on the rapper.
