The five MPs were elected after a motion was moved by Prime Minister, Cleopas Dlamini. The elected members are Motshane MP Robert Magongo, LaMgabhi MP Dumisani Dlamini, Hhukwini MP Nkhanyeti Ngwenya, Manzini Regional MP Busisiwe Mavimbela, and Gege MP Musa Kunene.
The election came after a debate of the motion where MPs emphasised the need to ensure that all directives issued by the King during his Speech should be implemented.
One of the MPs submitted that since then King had emphasised the need to grow the economy and effort should be made to ensure that in the end, it is all emaSwati who benefit from the growth and not just a selected few individuals.
Meanwhile, some MPs said since their term is coming to an end, a plan should be made to provide them with an opportunity to go and bid farewell to His Majesty, The King.
Deputy Speaker Madala Mhlanga said since they were given a chance to meet The King when they assumed office, they should be allowed to go and say their goodbyes.
