Eswatini Air will have its exhibit at the new airline pavilion at Meetings Africa 2023 ahead of its maiden flight.
Meetings Africa 2023 will take place in Sandton from February 28 to March 1. According to the Meetings Africa website, this year will see the 17th advent of this Business Event Trade Show, owned by South African Tourism, with the specific objective of creating a market access platform, for African Business Events Products.
It serves as the primary platform to enable the growth of the business events industry on the continent and ultimately contributes towards economic growth. Meetings Africa is a two-day trade show which is executed in conjunction with key global, continental, and national industry associations.
Other airlines showcasing in the airline pavilion are Airlink, Asky Airlines, Air Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, Lam Mozambique, Fly Namibia, FlySafair, Air Mauritius, Cemair, Proflight, RwandAir, and South African Airways.
According to a news report published on www.cajnewsafrica.com, the addition of an airline pavilion at Meetings Africa 2023 is poised to fast-track the tourism sector’s recovery, from an airlift perspective.
This new platform aims to boost efforts to improve connectivity across the continent. It was reported that for the first time, the pavilion will be designed at the prestigious trade show.
The pavilion has been designed to allow airlines to engage and collaborate, a move expected to yield significant benefits for the industry, including improved operational efficiencies, better customer experience, and innovation.

Zinhle Nzama, the Acting Chief Convention Bureau Officer at the South African National Convention Bureau (SANBC), said the platform is an essential tool for the recovery of the tourism sector globally and, therefore, it is vital to use the Meetings Africa to advance the work of airlines and provide a platform for collaboration.
The pavilion aims to provide a platform for various airline businesses to showcase their offerings and connect with potential customers.
“We believe this pavilion will help pave the way for a brighter and more resilient future for the African airline industry,” Nzama reportedly said.
Eswatini Air, a subsidiary of the Royal Eswatini National Airways Corporation (RENAC) has announced March 26 as the tentative date for its maiden flight will offer flights to four routes namely Durban, Harare, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.
RENAC Manager: Marketing and Communications Batsabile Nkambule confirmed the airline’s participation in Meetings Africa 2023.
