Prime Minister to open E2.5 million EOCGA offices

Prime Minister (PM) Cleopas Sipho Dlamini will form part of the guests to officially open the E2.5 million EOCGA Offices and further attend their 50th-anniversary celebrations.

The building is now complete and will be officially opened on Saturday in the presence of other guests from the Association of the National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) including Vice President Matlohang Moiloa – Ramaqoqo.

Others will be coming from countries including, South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, and Botswana. Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Maxwell Jele said it will be a big day for sports as the PM will also tour the offices and the resurfaced courts in Lobamba.

“We are happy that our guests have confirmed their presence and they will be arriving on Friday where they will be hosted at a welcome dinner at Happy Valley Hotel. On Saturday they will first pay a courtesy visit to the PM before joining him in the official opening of the building,” he said.

Jele added that the official opening will then be preceded by the gala dinner to celebrate the 50th anniversary of EOCGA in existence in the country.

He said the guests will also be taken to the Buganu Ceremony at Buhleni where they will get to see how the country celebrates culture.

Jele concluded that there are about 130 people expected to attend the dinner on Saturday evening ay at the Happy Valley Hotel.
