Her Majesty the Indlovukazi has welcomed thousands of Lutsango members who have responded to the royal call to bring Buganu, which marks the start of the Buganu Festival at Buhleni Royal Residence.
Emakhosikati, Balondolozi, members of the Royal Family and Cabinet ministers also joined in the festivities and delivered the Buganu and different fruits and vegetables to Her Majesty.
Lutsango from different government ministries and the corporate sector also came through in groups to pay homage to the mother of the nation.
The thousands of elated Lutsango members sang and danced as they marched into the Royal Residence to present before Her Majesty, who was joined by Members of the Royal family as they followed the proceedings of the day.
Inkhosikati LaMahlangu was one of the King’s wives who joined the Lutsango to present the marula brew. As per the culture, members of the Royal Family also joined the Indlovukazi in witnessing the thousands coming through.
Minister of Education and Training Lady Mabuza was spotted at the event in the company of former Minister of Health Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane.
Also spotted was Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe.
The ceremony continues on Saturday at the arena where it is expected that His Majesty King Mswati III will grace the ceremony and further address the gathering.
