Ambitious Premier league rookies, Nsingizini Hotspurs have roped in former Sihlangu and Green Mamba midfielder Maxwell ‘King Dunga’ Zikalala to their technical team.

Zikalala, a former Green Mamba assistant coach, joined ‘Insingi Yezulu’ last week ahead of Saturday’s 3-1 win over Tambankulu Callies. It was the Shiselweni-based outfit’s first win since December 4 when they beat Mbabane Swallows 2-1 at Mavuso Sports Centre.

Nsingizini Hotspurs mouthpiece Mnotfo Dlamini confirmed that Zikalala is now part of the club’s technical bench.

“He started his duties last week and his experience will come in handy. We are happy that finally we got a win after so many games. It helped to be patient with the players and this win has surely boosted the confidence of the players going forward,” Dlamini said.

Dlamini said they will be well-prepared for Wednesday’s replay clash against Young Buffaloes.

“We needed to break the ice with a win which we got on Saturday with Neliso scoring a hat-trick in 21 minutes. We will be going all out for a win against Buffaloes on Wednesday,” he added.
