MVA appoints Sam Mzileni as new Corporate Services Executive

Newly appointed SMVAF Corporate Executive Sam Mzileni

Sincephetelo MVA Fund has appointed Sam Mzileni as Corporate Services Executive.

Mzileni, a Chartered Marketer and strategic operations professional with over 20 years of experience appointment was effective from March 1 2023.

Mzileni is experienced in many professional fields including customer services management, operations, and corporate services leadership. He once worked as a consultant and part-time lecturer at the University of Eswatini.

Mzileni is also a former Director of Operations & Marketing at Eswatini Railways and held senior management positions for Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC), Cheron Swaziland (Caltex Oil) and Nashua Swaziland.

He won several awards and attained major milestones at company, national and regional levels while working for Eswatini Railway, EEC, Chevron (Africa – Pakistan) and Nashua Swaziland.

Mzileni will be responsible for several units in his new portfolio including Human Capital, Strategy, Business Intelligence, Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Relations.

SMVAF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mfanimpela David Myeni welcomed Mzileni and highlighted that the Fund is in the last year of its transformative Seamless Sincephetelo Strategy20/24 execution.

“The challenge is now to ensure that we close the strategy on March 2024 on a very high note and we have the capacity to harvest and translate the lessons learnt to a valuable platform to inform and craft our next strategic dispensation post-March 2024. We encourage Mzileni to rally the team around focusing on the meticulous delivery of the Fund’s mandate, Myeni said.
