A parent’s worst nightmare occurred on Wednesday after a child reported missing on Monday was found dead in his school’s pit toilet at Luve.
Thandolwethu Mamba (3) is said to have drowned in the pit toilet, however, the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has reported that an investigation to establish the finer details of the death is ongoing.

This comes after police officers were called to the rescue of a traditional healer who was attacked by an angry mob on suspicion that he was involved in the disappearance of the three-year-old boy.
According to the REPS, Mamba was discovered to have drowned in a pit toilet within his preschool premises. Police further urged the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
Mamba was said to be last seen at the preschool playground and he was seen wearing his school uniform and sneakers.
