His Majesty King Mswati III has officially christened The Luke Commission Hospital.
His Majesty was joined by hundreds of well-wishers who included members of the royal family, cabinet ministers, members of parliament, members of the diplomatic corps, staff of TLC and the public.
The event included the commission of the oxygen plant and the training and leadership centre of excellence. His Majesty said the hospital has to date, spent over E200 million in providing health care to emaSwati.
Ingwenyama said it was with pleasure that he was at TLC Miracle Campus which contributed immensely to the desired goal of health for all in Eswatini.

The King said this commendable effort had been made possible through the leadership of Happy and Echo Nomusa Vanderwal, who were touched by God and directed their purpose to touch the lives of emaSwati.
His Majesty said they had learnt that on average, the TLC team serves nearly 100 people daily. Ingwenyama thanked the Vanderwals for listening to God when he sent them to the country to provide quality health care to emaSwati.
His majesty added that they knew that when they came to the country, they did not have much in their savings, but knew they had to listen to God. The King said they reminded him of the time God sent Abraham to make a sacrifice, and he just went up to the mountain not knowing what he was even going to offer.
His Majesty said he had also heard of the role that the hospital played in saving lives during the Covid-19 pandemic. The king said the facility also provided oxygen to the country during the pandemic and had enough ventilators to save a lot of lives.

Ingwenyama also showed appreciation for the strong programs they have on HIV and snakebites. His Majesty said emaSwati accessed free health care in the facility and thanked all the partner organisations who make that possible.
His Majesty also appreciated the facility providing over 700 jobs for emaSwati as well as their wheelchair programme, which he said had also assisted royalty when a visitor became in urgent need of one.
“It is now my singular honour to declare The Luke Commission officially opened,” His Majesty said.
His Majesty also had the honour of taking a tour of the facility and was impressed by the cutting- technology used in the facility to make every process efficient.
