Royal Leopards clung to the Premier League top spot with a 3-1 win over hub giants Manzini Wanderers on Sunday afternoon at Prince of Wales. The police service side needed goals from Bongani Ndzimandze, Thokozani Dlamini and Junior Magagula to maintain their 100 per cent League start at the expense of the ‘ Weslians.
Wanderers scored their consolation goal through their trusted servant Fabrice Mopina. The Edwin Matsebula-led side opened the campaign with a slender 1-0 over Ezulwini United. Newcomers Illovo were the surprise package of the weekend by stunning defending champions Green Mamba with a resounding 3-1win at Ka Langa Technical Centre on Sunday. The defending champions suffered the defeat as they were without a majority of their stars. The team was reported to have suspended some players ahead of the game.

The other match at the same venue saw Denver Sundowns outsmart Moneni Pirates by 2-0 in the hub Derby also played at the same venue. Young Buffaloes also bite the dust against returnees Rangers, who stunned the army side with a 2-1 win at Nsukwansukwa Stadium.
Nsingizini Hotspurs and Manzini Sea Birds could not be separated following the 1- all draw at King Sobhuza II Stadium.
There are two pending fixtures in the second batch of matches involving Mbabane Highlanders/ Ezulwini United and Mbabane Swallows and Madlenya clash.
