His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Prince Lindani to be among the 10 members appointed to join the House of Assembly.
Through Attorney General (AG) Chief Sifiso Mashampu Khumalo, His Majesty has appointed the former Minister of Housing and Development Prince Simelane, former Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe, Prince Chief Mshengu , Nkhosungumenzi Dlamini, Tsembeni Magongo, Chief Mvimbi Matse, Chief Ngalokhulu Mabuza, former Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation Thuli Dladla.
It is worth noting that some of the appointee’s will be serving their second term in the House of Assembly, including, former Minister of Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation Thuli Dladla.

These appointments come after the dissolution of the 11th Parliament in which they relinquished office on September 27, 2023. This was before emaSwati went to participate in the national general elections on September 29, 2023.
These newly appointed by His Majesty are set to join the new members of parliament-elects in the House of Assembly. The House of Assembly is the lower chamber of eSwatini’s bicameral parliament, the assembly’s responsibility is to debate and pass bills, it was founded in 1967. The House of Assembly’s former speaker was Petros Mavimbela from October 11, 2018.
