Her Majesty Indlovukazi has encouraged congregants to always arm themselves with the Holly armour.
This she said in her sermon during the Resurrection of Christ service that was held on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
Her Majesty said when returning next year for a similar service, congregants should be fully armoured in Christ.
“Asibonane emnyakeni lotako bazalwane singulabahlome tikhali takamoya. Asihlome tikhali tikamoya longcwele, kuze sitokhona kumelana nemachinga a sathane,” she said.
The Indlovukazi said the devil is always lurking to trick people, and it does not matter whether that person is a pastor or a devoted prayer warrior, he strikes at any time.
He Majesty also extended appreciation to the pastors from outside the country for sharing the word of God which she said will be used by emaSwati to arm themselves as they continue worshipping in their respective churches.
Congregants from different churches within and outside the country came in numbers to attend the Resurrection of Christ service on Sunday.
The service was graced by Their Majesties, members of the Royal family, dignitaries of different portfolios, and church members.
The different churches that were in attendance included the Nazareth Baptist Church commonly known as Shembe, and different branches of the churches of Zion and Jericho, all draped in their attire.
As was announced that all attendants ought to have been seated by 10 a.m., congregants heeded and ensured that such was the case at the stadium.
At 12:38 p.m. Their Majesties and members of the Royal family were seated, and Bishop Hlatjwako led the service programme.
Choirs from different churches ushered the attendees to the different sermons by pastors before Their Majesties shared the word of God.
The service was opened in prayer by Archbishop Jeremiah Nkambule and was followed by Archbishop Elias Maseko who greeted attendance in song on behalf of Royalty.
Amongst the church choirs that performed included Alamathiya Church, Emahlokohloko, Intokozo yamadodana, and Setsembiso amongst others, all from the respective churches in attendance.
Despite being from different denominations and parts of the country, the congregation could only be told apart by their dress code, everything else was in sync and unison.
‘The world is envious of Swati culture’
South African Professor Keith Harrington says the entire world is envious of how emaSwati have retained their culture.
Harrington said this when giving a brief sermon during the last day of the Easter Service which depicted the rise of Christ held at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday.
“One thing I have observed is the Swati culture which remains the envy of many globally. Eswatini has retained a culture that does not clash with God. A culture that teaches young people to greet everyone they come across, one that says elderly is not a parent to their biological child but to all,” he said.
He further stated that what he has observed about His Majesty King Mswati III, and the nation is the love all have for education.
This he said is evident in the schools and tertiary institutions available in the country.
“Loku kuyaliphumelelisa live, kutsi bantfwana bafundziswe nebantfu futsi bakhutsatwe kutsi bafundze,” he said.
This is translated as “This makes a country succeed in that children are educated, and the entire nation is encouraged to educate themselves.”
