The Epic has made a triumphant return and has released a well-curated phase 1 lineup of the event, set to entice fun lovers.

The event is promising a bigger and better experience for music lovers.

The fifth edition of the Epic Gig is scheduled to take place from June 28 to June 30, 2024, and it guarantees to be an unforgettable three-day extravaganza that will captivate attendees from all walks of life.

Early bird tickets for the Epic Gig 2024 are already available for purchase on Howler, and they come with unbeatable prices.

For those seeking the ultimate festival experience, Full Fest arena tickets are priced at a jaw dropping E300 during the early bird phase, while pre-sale tickets will be E400.

If exclusivity is what you crave, Early bird Full Fest Epic Lounge tickets are available for E500, with presale tickets costing E800.

For day visitors looking to indulge in the epic lounge, early bird entrance tickets cost E300, while presale tickets are E500. Tickets at the gate will be E600, so make sure to secure yours in advance.

Mthembeni Ndevu, known by his stage name Emtee is a South African rapper. He was born and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in talent shows.

His career began at the age of 17, and his debut hit single, ‘Roll Up’ was released in 2015. Emtee was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment and released his debut album Avery (2015), which was commercially successful and was eventually certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).

His second studio album Manando (2017), the title referring to his late high school friend.

His third album DIY 2 was released in 2018. After his separation from his former record label, he then established his record label Emtee Records.

His third studio album Logan (2021), debuted number 1 in South Africa. He’s now expected to release his long-anticipated Album DIY3 in 2024, which will be the third instalment of his DIY projects, with the first being DIY 1.

Pearl Thusi is a South African actress, model, and presenter. She is known for her roles as Patricia Kopong in the BBC/HBO comedy-drama series The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency,

Dayana Mampasi in the ABC thriller Quantico and Samkelo in the romance film Catching Feelings. In 2020, she starred in the title role of Netflix’s first African original series, Queen Sono.

The multifaceted creative has recently ventured into DJying, all thanks to her creativity and versatility.

Tokelo Moyakhe is a South African rapper and songwriter known professionally as Maglera Doe Boy.

He came to prominence after the release of ‘Never Ride’ by MashBeatz after the single went viral on a video-sharing platform TikTok.

On the song he delivered a fire verse, which subsequently won him the ‘Verse of The Year.’

In 2015 he made a name for himself after releasing his debut EP Progression which was later named Hype Magazine’s top 5 underrated EPs and mixtapes.

Moyakhe signed a distribution deal with Universal Music South Africa through Khuli Chana’s imprint Mythrone Records which he later released his debut studio album Diaspora, and he was named the fast-rising artist from South Africa was featured on the Apple Music Up Next playlist.

Nkosazana Dughter

Also known as Nkosazana Kimberly Nzama, Nkosazana Daughter has made a name for herself with her soulful vocals and captivating stage presence.

Hailing from South Africa, she has gained prominence through hit singles such as ‘Izitha,’ ‘Umama Akekho,’ and ‘Sbindi Uyabulala.’

Collaborating with renowned Amapiano artists like Mpura, Heavy K, Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, and Master KG, Nkosazana Daughter has solidified her position in the music industry.

Her journey into the world of music began when she crossed paths with DJ Prince Kaybee and Goldmax from Distruction Boyz.

However, it was through a chance interaction on Instagram with DJ Maphorisa and the late Mpura that her career truly took off.

Since then, she has been a force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences with her unique sound and undeniable talent.

Buffalo Souljah

This creative is a South Africa-based Zimbabwean reggae recording artist and songwriter.

He won ten times at the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards, Soundcity Music Awards, Zimdancehall Awards and Nominated for Afrimma, Afrima, and IRAWMA.

He owns the record label U.N.A. (United Nations of Africa Music Group).

Buffalo Souljah’s career began at the age of eight when he composed his first song, ‘Zuva Randisinga Kanganwe’.

The song was inspired by a childhood incident in which he and his brother were chased by some baboons after having taunted and provoked them.

Buffalo credits his passion for music to his father, who was also a musician. His father was a jazz artist and saxophonist who worked with Thomas Mapfumo in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Buffalo Souljah also recorded an Afro-jazz album called Indolvu Yangena on VaNyoni Beats Records, working closely with Mzilikazi Wa Afrika.
