*Minister of Foreign Affairs wows 45th Ordinary Session of Executive Council in Ghana*

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Honourable Pholile Shakantu won many hearts during the 45th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council in Accra, Ghana when she intervened in the AU’s participation in the G20.

The charismatic Minister emphasized the importance of this engagement for inclusive economic development, climate change action, health and social development, digital transformation, and trade and investment for Eswatini and other African nations.

Minister Shakantu also highlighted that it will be important for Africa to speak in one voice when confronting global issues to ensure the future prosperity of the continent.

Africa has the natural resources and Human Resources which should be harnessed globally to lift Africa from poverty to prosperity.

The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini presented a comprehensive report on the country’s participation in the 45th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council, held in Accra, Ghana, from May 18-19, 2024.

This Summit, organized under the theme “Educate and Skill Africa for the 21st Century,” was a collaborative effort between the Government of the Republic of Ghana and the African Union (AU) Commission.

The meeting brought together Ministers of Foreign Affairs and their delegations from AU Member States to deliberate on significant issues affecting the African continent.

  1. Report on the 48th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC)
  2. Report on Participation of the African Union in the G20
  3. Report of the 16th Ordinary Session of the STC on Defense, Safety, and Security
  4. Report of the AU Independent Technical Team on Hosting the African Humanitarian Agency (AFHA)
  5. Report of the Joint-Sitting of the Ministerial Committee on Scale of Assessment and the Committee of F15
  6. Report of the Ministerial Committee of F15African Union Ministerial Committee on Candidatures within the International System
