The Christian Revival Church Global, under the leadership of its founder Apostle Nkosingiphile Mbhamali, organized a significant donation drive set at supporting the elderly and youth of Manzini.

The event was held at the Eswatini branch’s premises in Ngwane Park at Cardo Square near KaZakhali Private School.

It garnered a large turnout of excited elderly citizens who were showered with gifts and food parcels.

The service was not just about giving material things, but Apostle Mbhamali also shared a powerful sermon which focused on eradicating poverty and empowering the community.

He urged emaSwati to change their mindset towards poverty and take proactive steps to improve their circumstances.

He emphasized that poverty is a state of mind and should be treated as a curse that needs to be broken.

“Africans have got a mentality which leads them to poverty because they sit in one place for the longest time. Hence, poverty comes, and they don’t do anything,” Mbhamali preached.

He reinforced the idea that God supports people in their efforts and that individuals must take the initiative to better their lives.

“People need to start doing things, and God will support them from what they are doing.”

Apostle Mbhamali’s message was that poverty is a choice, and wealth is attainable through the right actions and mindset.

He referenced biblical scriptures to support his points, including Ecclesiastes 10:19, which states, “Money is the answer to everything,” and Proverbs 19:4, which suggests that wealth attracts friends and success.

His main focus was on Proverbs 22, where he emphasized the importance of teaching the right ways which will lead one to success whilst eradicating poverty.

The highlight of the service was when Mbhamali personally handed out gift packs and food parcels to the elderly, who responded with immense gratitude and excitement.

One representative of the elderly praised Mbhamali, acknowledging his capability and commitment to their development.

“As our pastor is young, we are seeing that he is a capable leader and he is really committed to developing us,” the representative said.

Again, beyond the immediate relief provided through food parcels, Apostle Mbhamali announced that his church is committed to long-term solutions to poverty.

This includes various youth empowerment programs and initiatives which will equip young people in Manzini with the skills and resources they need to succeed.

“We need to craft and think of various empowerment initiatives that will be helpful to emaSwati particularly the youth,” Mbhamali said, as he emphasized the church’s role in supporting the community not just with food but with sustainable empowerment programs.

The Christian Revival Church Global has got a main branch in South Africa, Richards Bay when it was founded by the Eswatini born clergyman.

It has successful programmes that are ran through media including Ukhozi FM in Durban and the Voice of the Church (VOC) in Eswatini.
