Princess Temave shared an empowering message to young women during a netball tournament held at Khuphuka High School.
The event was marked by the generous donation of E10,000 from the Hlasela Foundation, which is set at supporting and nurturing the talents of young female athletes in the Dvokolwako Inkhundla.
The tournament was organized by the Hlasela Foundation, and it brought together numerous teams who displayed their exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork.

The foundation was established in 2022 by Dvokolwako Indvuna Yenkhundla, Comfort “Hlasela Bhubesi” Shongwe. It has been instrumental in promoting arts and sports among young women across Eswatini.
Princess Temave, gracing the occasion alongside her sister, addressed the enthusiastic crowd with words of encouragement and motivation.
In her speech, she emphasized the boundless potential of young women and the importance of unity and perseverance in achieving greatness.
“Your potential is limitless. Each of you possesses unique talents and abilities that, when guided by courage and determination, can lead to extraordinary achievements, whether on the netball courts, in your academic pursuits, or any other endeavors,” stated Princess Temave.
“Never underestimate your capacity to succeed.”
She highlighted the significance of teamwork learned through sports, noting that unity and collective effort are essential in overcoming challenges and reaching common goals.
“This tournament teaches us the value of being united and acting with the same mind and spirit to achieve the goals set before us.
The journey may be challenging, and you may encounter obstacles along the way, but in overcoming these challenges, you will find strength and resilience that will yield positive results,” she added.
The Princess also called upon the young women to use their successes as a platform to uplift others and contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large.

“True greatness is not merely measured by personal success but by how you utilize your achievements to uplift others.
By striving for excellence and bringing honor not only to yourselves but also to your families and your community, you become examples for others, demonstrating what can be accomplished through dedication and resolve,” she expressed.
The event was also cited as a prelude to the nation’s coming Umhlanga Reed Dance Ceremony.
Princess Temave extended a cordial invitation to all attendee where she expressed the ceremony’s importance in celebrating Eswatini’s cultural heritage, dignity, and unity.
“Umhlanga is more than just a tradition; it’s a celebration of our dignity, values, and unity as a nation.
It is time for the young girls and women of Eswatini to stand together, be recognized, and renew their commitment to our shared cultural heritage.
Participation in this ceremony is a powerful statement of respect for who we are,” she invited.
In concluding her address, Princess Temave expressed profound gratitude to Shongwe and the Hlasela Foundation for their continued support and dedication to empowering young women.
“Your support exemplifies the leadership and community spirit essential to the progress of our kingdom.
We urge more leaders in this community to join this noble cause, making this initiative bigger and better and ensuring it is not the last to happen here,” she concluded.
Shongwe further made emphasis on the foundation’s dedication to enhancing opportunities for young women and encouraged continued community involvement and support for such initiatives.
