His Majesty King Mswati III’s dream of the country exporting local talent abroad could soon come to fruition.
This follows the announcement of the visit of former Everton striker Yakubu Ayegbeni in the country on September 22, 2024.
The former Super Eagles of Nigeria forward will make a courtesy call to His Majesty during his stay in the country where he is also expected to hold coaching clinics.

The visit is facilitated by the Prince Majaha Foundation.
Ayegbeni confirmed the latest update when contacted on Wednesday.
“I am looking forward to visiting Eswatini on September 22, 2024, and I want to inspire Eswatini players to achieve their goals in football. I will also be able to meet my fans in Eswatini,” he said.
Prince Majaha Foundation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Njobo Nkosi said preparations for Yakubu’s visit are proceeding smoothly.

“We are ready to welcome the Nigerian legend in the country and we will announce other logistics of the visit in due course,” he said.
The 42-year legend has played for several English sides such as Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough, Leicester and Portsmouth, to mention a few.
He also had stints in Israel and China.
He has numerous caps for Nigeria in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations,among others.
