King honours outstanding Ex-Etjendlovu High School pupils

In a heartfelt celebration of academic excellence, His Majesty King Mswati III honoured two exceptional former students of Etjendlovu High School during the school’s official opening ceremony on Tuesday.

The event highlighted the remarkable achievements of Mancoba Msibi and Nonduduzo Ndwandwe, who have both shone on the SADC stage in recent years.

Mancoba Msibi, who was placed third in the SADC essay writing competitions in 2014, and Nonduduzo Ndwandwe, who clinched first place at the SADC level in 2015.

were celebrated not only for their individual accolades but also for representing the potential of their generation.

“Their achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our young people,” King Mswati stated proudly.

He emphasized that the triumphs of Msibi and Ndwandwe extend beyond personal success, serving as an inspiration to all Emaswati and placing Eswatini prominently on the SADC map.

The King also acknowledged the pivotal role of their beloved teacher, Ms. Nontobeko Theresa Zulu. “Behind every success story is a guiding hand, a coach, and a mentor who inspires others to reach their full potential,” the King noted.

Ms. Zulu’s efforts in nurturing critical thinking and igniting curiosity among her students have been instrumental in their success.

The King encouraged her to continue her excellent work, even at her new school, acknowledging teachers as essential architects of a brighter future.

The ceremony not only celebrated student achievements but also underscored the importance of education in fostering potential and innovation.
