South African singer and songwriter Lloyiso has described his performance at the third edition of the MoMo Xperience as arguably his favourite show of the year, praising emaSwati for the overwhelming love, energy and support they showed throughout his set.
The “Seasons” hitmaker made the remarks after headlining the fast-growing music festival held at Malkerns Country Club on Saturday, where thousands of music lovers gathered for an evening of entertainment featuring some of Eswatini and South Africa’s finest musical talent.
Taking to social media after the event, the award-winning vocalist expressed his gratitude to the Eswatini audience, saying the reception he received exceeded his expectations.
“Eswatini, I felt your love last night! Your energy! Your hearts. You sang the songs word for word! Is it too early to say that’s my favourite performance this year?” he wrote.

The singer’s comments echoed the atmosphere that unfolded throughout his performance as fans enthusiastically sang along to every song, creating one of the most memorable moments of the festival.
From the moment he stepped onto the stage, Lloyiso captivated the audience with his soulful vocals and heartfelt stage presence.
His carefully curated setlist featured fan favourites including Nontsikelelo, Seasons, Speak and Dream About You, High, among other popular songs that had the crowd singing every lyric at the top of their voices.
The emotional connection between the performer and the audience was evident throughout the performance, with thousands of mobile phone lights illuminating the venue as fans swayed and sang along to each song.
For many attendees, Lloyiso’s performance was one of the highlights of the evening, with his powerful vocals drawing loud cheers and applause after every song.
However, the musical journey had begun long before the South African star took to the stage.
Earlier in the evening, Eswatini gospel sensation Sphiwo Ndoni delivered a moving worship session that transformed the festival grounds into what many described as a church-like atmosphere.

His performance of the popular gospel song Tive Temhlaba Tikubone resonated deeply with the audience, who joined him in worship, singing every word with passion and raising their hands in praise.
Reflecting on his experience after leaving the stage, Ndoni said performing at the festival had been a memorable milestone in his career.
“It’s my first time performing in such a space, but I really enjoyed myself. Thank you MoMo Xperience. Thank you to all emaSwati for the love and support,” he said.
The festival also provided a platform for rising local talent, with MTN Bushfire Firefly 2026 winner MCO Jamrock delivering an energetic performance that had the audience on its feet.
The crowd erupted when he performed his viral social media hit Cubuka, with fans enthusiastically singing along from beginning to end.
Eswatini disc jockey Bloss maintained the momentum with an entertaining DJ set that kept revellers dancing and celebrating throughout the evening.
His seamless mix of local and international hits ensured there was hardly a moment when the crowd was not moving to the music.
Traditional music also found its place on the festival programme through the performance of local artist Sancheziey, who celebrated Eswatini’s cultural heritage with a vibrant Siswati set.

Accompanied by a traditional dance troupe, Sancheziey transformed the stage into a colourful cultural showcase that blended music, dance and tradition.
He performed some of his best-known songs, including Siyabonga Gogo, Halaalaa and Emaweni, with fans singing along enthusiastically while dancers added visual flair through energetic traditional choreography.
South African multi-award-winning acapella group The Soil also delivered one of the night’s standout performances.
Known for their rich harmonies and distinctive vocal arrangements, the trio thrilled the audience with songs such as Susan and Joy, among other fan favourites.
Their performance drew thunderous applause, with many concertgoers singing along and dancing as the group showcased the vocal brilliance that has earned them fans across the continent.
The enthusiastic response from the audience reflected the festival’s growing reputation as one of Eswatini’s premier entertainment events, attracting both internationally acclaimed performers and homegrown artists.
Festival Director Mbekezeli “Culolam” Dlamini expressed his appreciation to the thousands of people who attended the event, thanking emaSwati for supporting the festival’s third edition.
“Thank you, emaSwati. We appreciate you so much. Thank you for the turnout,” he said.
With another successful edition concluded, MoMo Xperience has further cemented its place on Eswatini’s entertainment calendar, delivering a memorable blend of gospel, traditional music, contemporary sounds and world-class performances.
