Describing his visit to Eswatini as a divine appointment, the Archbishop shared that he has become selective about international invitations to preach, feeling a distinct release when he received the invitation to minister in this beautiful nation.

The conference, held at the iconic Jesus Calls Worship Centre, drew pastors and leaders from various churches throughout Eswatini, as well as neighbouring countries like South Africa, Mozambique, and even members from the United States. Hosted by Bishop Robert Kasaro and Home Affairs Minister, Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe, the WAW Conference underscored themes of spiritual courage and generational responsibility. Archbishop Duncan-Williams emphasized the need to overcome personal challenges before facing greater battles, likening the journey to that of David, who defeated both the lion and Goliath.

“Before you face a Goliath, you must slay your lion,” he proclaimed through our process and struggles. God prepares us for major assignments that lead to victory.

The Archbishop encouraged the congregation to claim their testimonies as weapons of victory for the battles ahead. “God gives you victory today for battles tomorrow. You face your future anchored in what He has already done,” he stated, reminding all present that embracing their testimonies can empower them in their faith journey.

Crucially, the Archbishop addressed the looming challenges faced by the next generation, urging the church to rise as protectors of their destiny. “The enemy seeks to destroy the next generation,” he warned. “We must understand that this battle is for their lives and futures. Pray for the promised seed and deny the enemy any grip over them.”

He highlighted the role of social media in this spiritual warfare, noting, “It throws everything at our youth to kill, steal, and destroy their purpose in Christ.” His message resonated deeply, igniting a sense of urgency for prayer and action among attendees.

In addition to the main conference events, Archbishop Duncan-Williams held a special leadership breakfast session at the George Hotel in Manzini, hosted by Bishop Kasaro. This gathering brought together government officials, business leaders, and church heads to engage in prayer for the country, Their Majesties and the leadership of Eswatini. Archbishop Duncan-Williams encouraged church leaders to meet at least once a month to pray for the country and His Majesty the King.
