Its recently believed that Kaizer Chiefs could part ways with their head coach Nasereddine Nabi after discovering that he didn’t renew his licenses.
Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen says it’s part of football as coaches come and go.

Talking to the media after the launch of the Carling Knockout at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg the number one goalkeeper said that now they can’t dwell much on that at the moment.

“It is part of football. You are not going to win all your games. I think Sekhukhune took their chances and sometimes that is how football plays out. The lessons we took out of that game are important and have a chance on Wednesday to rectify that. Looking forward to the fixture and hopefully this can be our first step to going all the way in this competition. We have had a better start to this season so why not go for all the trophies up for grabs and this is the next one in line. It is every team’s dream to be consistent and win games,” Petersen said.

The goalkeeper meanwhile added that coaches come and go and what they have to do now is to focus on what they can do to get good results.

“Coaches come and coaches go. Players come and players go. We can’t dwell too much on that. Obviously, it is not nice to lose a coach but at the end of the day we have a job at hand and fixtures to look forward to. So, we can’t dwell on what’s been happening. For us, it is to stay focused. We have a goal in mind. For us, it is to go and perform to the best of our abilities in every game. So, that is the main focus for us now and Wednesday we have a game coming up so we have to go out there and fix what we have to fix,” Petersen concluded.

Amakhosi next league game is on Wednesday the Heritage Day against Marumo Gallants at the FNB Stadium from 17h30.
