Royal Leopards midfield dynamo Junior Magagula could soon ply his trade out of the country.

This follows a E250 000 bid by DR Congo side AS Maniema for the services of the former Moneni Pirates player.

Magagula impressed the Congolese side during the recent CAF Confederation Cup assignment between the clubs.

A source close to the matter revealed that talks between the two sides are proceeding smoothly.

“Maniema has tabled an E250 000 bid for Junior through the facilitator of the deal, Alimas Bin Saleh famously known as Adebayor. Talks could be concluded in the next fourth night,” the source said.

                                                                                                                      Junior Magagula.

Leopard Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frank Hurube could not comment on the matter when compiling the report after his cell phone rang unanswered.

Magagula could become the third Liswati to ply his trade in the diamond-rich African state after the duo of Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst and Mthunzi ‘Xavi’ Mkhontfo, who were previously in the books of AS Vita club.

He could become the country’s sixth foreign-based players after Lindo Mkhonta(Zesco United, Zambia), Justice Figareido (Chippa United, South Africa), Mxolisi Mkhonto (Morapule Wanderers, Botswana), Banele ‘Stiga’ Ndzabandzaba (Botswana Defence Force), and Sizwe Gwebu (Uganda Police).

The player has numerous Sihlangu caps under the guidance of various coaches such as Kostadin Papic, Dominic Kunene, Zdravko Logarusic, and the incumbent Sifiso ‘Nuro’Ntibane.
