IYF graduates challenged to become nation builders

Young people have been challenged to reject self-doubt, embrace integrity and become the next generation of leaders capable of transforming Eswatini.

This was the central message at the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Academy’s fifth graduation ceremony held on Saturday,

where graduates were urged to use the knowledge, values and leadership skills they had acquired to make a lasting contribution to the country’s development.

The ceremony attracted senior government officials and dignitaries, including the Director of Politics from The King’s Office (HRH Prince Mphiwa’s Family),

Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Public Service Mthunzi Shabangu and Makhosi Simelane from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office,

who commended the graduates for their determination and encouraged them to become responsible citizens committed to serving their communities.

Addressing the graduates, IYF Academy Director Rev. David Gang said the greatest barrier to success was often the belief that one was incapable.

He urged the graduates to reject negative thinking and instead place their confidence in God, saying every challenge could be overcome through faith and perseverance.

“Never see yourselves as incapable,” Gang said. “Through the Word of God, you can overcome every challenge and confidently pursue your dreams.

” He encouraged the graduates to remain resilient as they enter a competitive world, saying their character, discipline and willingness to serve others would distinguish them from their peers
