The wait is almost over for Eswatini’s motoring fraternity, with the 2nd Annual Park and Chill set to take place this Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Goldwagon Matsapha Parking, starting at 12:00 noon.
After making a strong impression with its inaugural edition last year, the event returns bigger and better, promising car enthusiasts a day filled with stunning builds, music, entertainment and an atmosphere celebrating the country’s growing car culture.
Last year’s edition attracted hundreds of enthusiasts, turning the gathering into a meeting point for people passionate about modified, stance and performance cars. 
This year, organisers are expecting an even bigger turnout, with international guests from South Africa confirming their attendance and bringing along some exciting builds.
Local enthusiasts are equally ready for the challenge, with Eswatini’s car owners expected to showcase some of their finest creations.
Who will be crowned King of Stance?
One of the major attractions of the day will be the car competition, which will feature five categories: Best Stance, Low Limbo, Loudest Sound System, Cleanest Car and Crowdpleaser.
The competition is expected to generate plenty of excitement, particularly in the stance category, where enthusiasts will be watching closely to see who emerges as the new King of Stance in Eswatini.
Event organiser Mlondi Mpanza says the competition is ultimately about much more than trophies and titles.
“It’s not about who wins. It’s about growing the car culture and bringing car lovers together.
Everyone will be a winner on the day because we are creating a platform where people can showcase their builds, meet other enthusiasts and enjoy themselves.”
More than just cars
While the cars will undoubtedly be the stars of the show, Park and Chill will offer much more for visitors to enjoy.
The entertainment lineup features Piano Republik, Vasco x deDang and Zoleka, ensuring that music will form a major part of the day’s festivities.
Food lovers will also have plenty to choose from, with Dirty Fries and Bliss Burgers among the vendors expected to serve attendees.
For those looking for something more permanent to take home, Lazy Tattoos will also be at the event.
The second edition is supported by Goldwagon, Diskibet, Carrot Ticketing, MTN, K9 Security and Nox Tinting.
Organisers say the support from the various partners has played an important role in creating a platform that brings together different sections of the motoring and entertainment communities.
With South African builds crossing the border, local contenders ready to compete and thousands of enthusiasts expected to descend on Matsapha, the stage is set for a memorable Saturday.
Park and Chill takes place this Saturday, August 15, at Goldwagon Matsapha Parking. Gates open at 12:00 noon and entrance is E50.
