Reminder: SEM’s Choice Awards – Deadline 14 June 2019

The frustrating truth about any industry is that becoming the best you can be doesn’t guarantee success — nor does it guarantee that you’ll get noticed by anyone.

Even when you do the hard work of getting your name out there, you can’t help but think that — if you had the right connections — you would be noticed by a lot more people.

What you might not know is that as SEM Cares Foundation we also have a sister company known as Africa AD Agency that assists clients in determining the best way to reach their target audience, select the ideal marketing mix & develop effective campaigns.

Our two businesses fit together to follow the natural arch of any career which is career development on one side and patron relation services on the other. Drafting an award submission might be time consuming but entering your business into an award program is a great way to showcase your achievements, gain recognition for your hard work, and promote your business by telling its story.

We strongly believe that the award can be also used to win and attract new clients as an award from a reputable organisation gives your business instant credibility and allows you to be seen as a leader in your industry. Both of which are highly valued by prospective clients. Moreover, by so doing you also benefit to be in the same roof with the corporate and possible the Government as they have power to influence and support any career out there.

As you well know, there is a huge amount of competition in any industry. The individual that tend to succeed nowadays are the ones who are very clear about a) what they want, and b) what they stand for, artistically and personally. Defining and communicating your niche has everything to do with your artistic identify as well as your personal brand.

This process starts with a lot of introspection. What are you about and what are you trying to say to the world through your art? How can you come up with creative outlets for your artistry, on your own terms? Do you know what your core values are, or what your mission is?

As SEM Cares Foundation we would like to invite every stakeholder to make their submissions so we get to share a lot about anyone who will make it to the Nomination process. We will offer PR training and assist anyone how to reach out to the public and represent themselves as Brands while helping raise funds for the foundation in order to be in a better position to come up with initiative to help our youth with their career path.

Submissions are made online: https://www.semcaresfoundation.org/submission/ or people can call or Whatsapp Gerry Dobah on 76847634. All nominees will be assisted with their booking needs through Africa AD Agency, Profiling guide and PR assistance. Categories are listed below:
