In 1986 he published a paper with Wilbur Hoff titled Nurses and traditional healers join hands (Wilbur Hoff & D. Nhlavana Maseko) published by the World health forum 1986 ; 7(4) : 412-416
The paper focused on ….
In 1999 he was appointed by Government to serve in the Management Crisis and Technical Committee on HIV and AIDS which developed the national response strategy to manage HIV and AIDS.
He was totally against ritual killings and witchcraft. He has been quoted on numerous occasions saying that “those who mislead people to use ritual murder to win elections or wealth are witches and wizards but not traditional healers. Witches are born but traditional healers go through intensive training from 1 to 10 years to heal people through traditional means.”
The Maseko Family confirms the passing on of the Royal Nguni Emperor, Dr Nhlavana Maseko.
