His Excellency has announced that the nation is moving to adjusted level 1 effective tonight. The curfew hours remain 9pm to 4am.

He further announced that “Government has taken the decision to close schools indefinitely with immediate effect. However, ongoing international examinations will proceed as planned. Security will be provided for these students wishing to sit for the examinations.
We should be aware that the closure of schools by more than one and half years has set back the schools programme, from achievements that are normally gained over decades of good programming. International exams have fixed standards and dates which are not modified on the account of students not attending classes”
