Denver Sundowns Coach Siyabonga Bhembe is leaving the team after coaching the team since last season.
Bhembe will be leading the team for the last time in the next big match against Mbabane Highlanders this coming weekend. The unexpected departure of the coach is unfortunate for the team as they were still looking forward to having him for a longer term.
The departure of Bhembe was confirmed by Sundowns’s PRO Thabiso Manyatsi. Speaking to this publication Manyatsi said, “the team’s Chairperson has blessed Siyabonga’s departure from the team, he has been working tirelessly from the beginning of the season up to today’s session. He has shown respect towards the team’s Chairperson, CEO and the whole team. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors”.
Manyatsi also mentioned that as a team they are still in the process of contacting individuals who will be able to lead the team to it’s promise land.
