After a long wait, Eswatini Air is ready to make its maiden flight.

This comes after the company, which is a subsidiary of the Royal Eswatini National Airways Corporation finally received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This was announced by the company yesterday.

In a statement, the company said it was thrilled to announce that the protracted AOC approval for Eswatini Air was finally over and they had now received their AOC.

The company had initially planned to take into the skies in June after the purchase of two Embraer ERJ-145 aeroplanes, but this was delayed due to the AOC process. The aeroplanes will service routes including Durban, Johannesburg, Harare, and Cape Town.
