New India High Commissioner to Eswatini appointed

Shri N. Ram Prasad, who is presently the Deputy Chief of Mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Kingdom of Eswatini.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly and replaces Her Excellency Radha Venkantaram, who was India’s previous Commissioner in Eswatini having arrived in the country in August 2019 and retired in April 2022.

Her post remained vacant until the appointment of Prasad. The Acting India High Commissioner Susan Joseph has been holding the fort since May 2022.

The Kingdom of Eswatini and India have been enjoying diplomatic relations for many years.
