Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini urges emaSwati to partake in elections

The Prime Minister, Cleopas Sipho Dlamini, has encouraged emaSwati to vote and contribute to nation-building.

The PM was speaking during the closing of the Cabinet Retreat which has been taking place throughout the week at the Royal Villas. The PM said during the retreat, Cabinet received feedback to the effect that preparations for the national elections were at an advanced stage.

He revealed that a civic exercise is set to begin shortly.

“The Elections and Boundaries Commission has assured us that all is going well. We encourage all emaSwati to use their right to participate in the elections. The right to vote is enshrined in the Constitution, so all emaSwati should vote freely and fairly. They should make their voices heard,” he said.
