“Government will continue to strengthen security mechanisms in the country, to ensure that every LiSwati and the residents of Eswatini enjoy living in a peaceful and safe environment for all. This will also pave the way to a peaceful national dialogue, devoid of any threats and intimidation of citizens,” he said.

Meanwhile, the PM said the retreat was an opportunity for the Cabinet to take stock of the challenges and successes of the soon-to-end financial year and use those to plan for the coming year.

“As promised when the year began, we did make significant improvements in service delivery, as you will shortly find out, and Government is committed to continually improve in this regard, for the benefit of all EmaSwati and residents of Eswatini,” he said.

He explained that the national budget this year will focus more on improving the standard of living for emaSwati, by paying special attention to their needs for critical services such as healthcare, education, job creation, infrastructure development and youth empowerment, among others.
