His Majesty King Mswati III says Eswatini is determined to grow its economy despite the hurdles/challenges faced by the country.
He was speaking during the National prayer held at Mandvulo Hall at Lozitha Royal Residence on Saturday evening. Stating that God loves the economy of Eswatini, His Majesty questioned who would have known that Eswatini’s economy would grow this strong, regardless of the challenges encountered by the country.
“But because God loves us, He has put us under his wing. The entire world is writing about Eswatini and mentioning that we are in the top 10 in terms of countries with an improving economy”.
He further stated that when looking at the country’s SACU receipts, they showed how strong Eswatini is. This then begs the question that with all the problems and challenges faced by the country, how is it that Eswatini never rose to such greater heights when the situation was normal and calm?
“I am not insinuating that we need such challenges as a country to improve the economy,” His Majesty clarified leaving the room in stitches.
“God has shown that He loves the Swati nation, and He knows and sees our hearts, each and every one of us,” he added.
