E50 000 school uniform donation by Clinic Group

By Khulile Thwala

In pursuit of its mandate to give back to the community, The Clinic Group has donated school uniforms, bags, and shoes amounting close to E50 000 to the community of Nkwene.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Khotso Ramphele said this would be one of many charity projects the group would embark on and they had chosen the KaMsibi Care Point located at Nkwene after seeing the good work being done by the owner of the care point Make Portia Msibi.

Dr Ramphele further shared that the group was also providing free immunisation at the clinic as a form of giving back to the community and this was one of many initiatives that the group was encapsulating this year.
According to Msibi, the care point caters to 86 children who are provided with meals five days a week.

“We are thrilled to receive assistance from The Clinic Group as we cater for the needs from our pockets and this initiative will greatly assist the community as the lack of adequate school uniforms was a need we identified,” said Msibi.

At least 36 of the children served food at KaMsibi Care Point were presented with school items, which included a school bag, a water bottle, a pair of socks, and a pair of school shoes.

Many of the children who came to receive the items were from the Nkwene Primary School.
