By Khulile Thwala

The Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala on Wednesday presented the constituency of Kubuta under the Shiselweni Region with a tractor and implements worth E1.6 million.

This was received through the ministry’s Rural Development Fund (RDF). The presentation was done at Zishinini, which is a community under the Kubuta Constituency following the support of 10 per cent funding to access the RDF was raised by a cooperative in the area known as Zishinini Multi-purpose Cooperative.

The minister in an interview after the official handover of the tractor and implements said the community should be proud of its efforts to raise 10 per cent funding required to access the RDF grant and this now meant that the farming of the area would drastically improve and further other activities which require tractor services in the constituency.

“The tractor we are presenting today has all the necessary implements to ensure that the community uses it profusely, be it grating damaged roads following heavy rains or delivering sand as well as farming, the community can now do all these things,” said Ngcamphalala.

He further praised the community of Kubuta for working towards accessing the funds from the RDF and receiving equipment beneficial to the community at large.
