Municipality to auction over E7 million worth of rate defaulters’ properties

The Municipal Council of Mbabane has been granted an order to auction over E7 million worth of property belonging to rate defaulters.

As per a court order from the Magistrates Court, the municipality will conduct an auction sale of the property at the Mbabane Magistrates Court parking lot on March 17.

Eight properties will be auctioned with a reserve price ranging from E29 000 to E5.9 million, some of which are developed land with homesteads and businesses.
