The start of AKA’s memorial has seen fans, friends and family members breaking down and comforting each other.
Amongst these are his parents, his girlfriend Nadia Nakai, and his father who visibly shed tears whilst his mother seems to be the pillar of strength for everyone. Kairo who arrived with her mother DJ Zinhle has been seen comforting Nadia when she broke down.
The service has also been graced by different artists and dignitaries, including Minister Lindiwe Sisulu.
The service continues at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg where Moozlie is the MC and Kabelo Mabalane has been asked to open in prayer.
