New Finsure CIO expected to take organisation to greater heights

The Eswatini Development Finance Corporation (FINCORP) Group has appointed Nozipho Dlamini for the Chief Insurance Officer (CIO) position for its insurance subsidiary company, Finsure Assurance Limited.

She assumed the position with effect from February 1, 2023. According to FINCORP Group Brand Development and Communications Officer Manqoba Makhubu, Dlamini brings to the company over 10 years of experience in the field of long-term insurance.

She is expected to use her extensive industry experience to lead the operations of FINSURE to new heights starting with taking lead in the formulation of a new five-year strategic plan for the company.

Before taking on the new role at Finsure Assurance Limited, Dlamini was Head of Long-Term Insurance Business Development Manager at Old Mutual Eswatini. She has also served in other companies within the financial services sector.

FINCORP Group Managing Director Dumisani Msibi said they are pleased to welcome Dlamini to the FINCORP Group and believe she has all the requisite professional skills and managerial experience required to succeed as the head of the insurance subsidiary company. We look forward to seeing the company grow from strength to strength under the leadership of the new Chief Insurance Officer.

Meanwhile, Dlamini said she was honoured by the confidence the FINCORP Group has placed in her.
